Your Operation Intelligence Stays Encrypted
Foxhole is an intelligence war. Enemy recon, infiltrators, and leaked briefings can sink an entire campaign before it starts. TrenchQuarters encrypts all operation data at rest — a database breach alone exposes nothing readable. Here's exactly how.
AES-256-GCM Encryption
Every operation document is encrypted before it reaches the database. The database stores only ciphertext — never readable planning intelligence.
Guild-Isolated Keys
Your regiment's encryption key is cryptographically derived from your guild identity using HKDF-SHA256. No two regiments share a key — a compromise of one cannot touch another.
Breach-Resistant Architecture
The encryption key never lives in the database. A complete database dump exposes only meaningless ciphertext — useless without the separate server-side key material.
Tamper Detection
AES-GCM includes a cryptographic authentication tag alongside every stored payload. Any modification to ciphertext causes decryption to fail — tampering is detected and rejected outright.
Short-Lived Session Tokens
Real-time map collaboration uses encrypted tokens that expire in 30 seconds and are consumed on first use. There are no long-lived tokens to steal or replay.
Transparency. TrenchQuarters is a hosted service — we maintain the server-side key infrastructure. Our encryption protects your data against third-party breaches, database leaks, and unauthorized access. We do not access regiment operation data.
